In 1880 Charles and Laura Wheelock homesteaded 83 acres in Munro township where they raised 6 sons and one daughter. Keith Wheelock (front row far right) took over the farm in 1924.

Keith and Aurelie made their lives on the farm after Charles died in 1924. They had two children, Bonnie and Wayne, both of which found their own calling in life away from the farm.
Keith died in 1986 and the farm was rented for 30 years while still being owned by Wayne and his wife Joanne.
In 2020 their son Michael retired from medical practice and found the calling to return to the farm. He has renovated the property, removing old fencing, rehabbing buildings, and built a new home on the property.
Michael maintains a large garden where he is able to donate the majority of his vegetables to a local foodbank.
He makes maple syrup in the spring using the same techniques as his ancestors in the same stand of trees they used, and grows wheat which he harvests, mills, and bakes into whole grain bread for sale.
